A Carroll County Ravens fan bid $57,100 on a customized Jeep owned by running back Ray Rice — and 10 percent of that price will benefit the Erika Brannock Fund, supporting the Towson preschool teacher injured in the Boston Marathon bombing.
Keith Kauffman of Finksburg made the winning bid Friday on eBay and drove the car off the lot Saturday, according to Ali Berney, finance manager at Carbiz on Reisterstown Road in Northwest Baltimore. Rice popped by, too, congratulating Kauffman and his wife, Kathy, and posing for pictures with them and the 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.
